This high-quality stage skirt made from flame-retardant stage molton (300 g/m²) is the ideal solution for cladding platforms, stages or stage perimeters at events, trade shows or in theatres. The opaque skirting provides a professional finish for covering stage risers and other structures.
The top edge of the skirt is fitted with a durable, sewn-on loop tape (hook-and-loop fastener). It is securely mounted using the included self-adhesive hook tape – a fast and reusable solution suitable for a wide range of applications.
The stage surround is opaque, neatly overlocked, and ready to use. Whether as a stage skirt, event skirting, stage surround or platform skirting – this product meets high demands in terms of fire safety (flame-retardant according to DIN 4102 B1 or equivalent), durability and functionality.

Stage molton is a very cost-effective mass-produced fabric, manufactured with wider tolerances than, for example, velvets.
Colour variations and differences in optical density between individual pieces are production-related and do not constitute a defect in value.
The use of stage molton is not recommended where high demands are placed on durability, colour fastness, or similar quality criteria.
Please note that the MOLTON stage skirt is manufactured with a dimensional tolerance of ±10 mm, and its width will not be more than 20 mm narrower than the nominal width.

Unless expressly noted otherwise, cotton fabrics marked flame retardant (hardly flammable) are treated with a semi-permanent flame retardant. This means that as long as the material is not soaked or washed, the flame retardant characteristics will persist. Therefore, soaking or washing will cause the loss of fire retardant characteristics. Flame retardant characteristics can be maintained through professional dry cleaning without stain removing agents and a low proportion of water. It is mandatory to carry out tests after dry cleaning.
