TÜCHLER Bühnen- & Textiltechnik GmbH is committed to making its digital content as accessible as possible—in line with EU Directive 2019/882 on accessibility requirements for products and services.
This directive requires providers of digital services, particularly in e-commerce, to ensure their content is accessible to people with disabilities.

We already offer several low-barrier ways to access information and contact us:
- product datasheets and reports as PDF files
- personalized advice through our field representatives
- telephone support in multiple languages
- chat support in German and English
- alt texts and accessible information for many reference projects

Our website includes several hundred products with up to 30 variants, as well as numerous reference projects in five languages. A complete, retrospective conversion of all existing content to be accessible would involve organizational, technical, and financial efforts that, as a medium-sized company with around 30 employees, we cannot economically bear. EU Directive 2019/882 explicitly provides for an exemption in cases of disproportionate burden (Article 14). Based on internal assessment, we are invoking that exemption for existing content.

Our goal is to make all new content accessible starting 28 June 2025. This includes:
- alt texts for new images (products, references)
- structurally organized content for better orientation
- compliance with current technical standards (e.g., WCAG criteria)

Digital accessibility is an ongoing process. We welcome feedback to help us continue improving our digital offerings.
