Theatre Castle Hranice

The history of the castle in Hranice begins with the construction of a fortress, first mentioned at the end of the 14th century. The fortress was rebuilt into a castle and repeatedly remodeled and expanded.  The castle is one of the most beautiful late-Renaissance buildings in Moravia.

Thanks to the extraordinary roof construction over the courtyard, various cultural events are often held here. Today it is privately owned by the Vlasak family. Vaclav Vlasak is a musician himself (metal group Citron - now Limetal). All sewing work and fabrics come from Tüchler.
