Heavy wool serge fabric with a weight of 820 g/m², treated with flame-retardant impregnation.
With its substantial weight of 820 g/m², Wollserge EN 820 is an exceptionally heavy fabric offering excellent sound absorption properties. Due to its high material density, curtains made from this fabric hang smoothly and steadily. The formation of drapes or folds is minimal and only possible with very tall curtains.
The warp yarn made of synthetic fiber provides outstanding longitudinal stability, making Wollserge EN 820 suitable for very high curtains or use in roller blind systems.

After heavy watering or washing, the flame retardant properties end!
With professional chemical cleaning without detagier and low water content, the flame retardant proerties can remain. Tests are absolutely necessary!
Wool mattes and shrinks considerably during washing and usually leads to the destruction of the wool product!
