What distinguishes decorative fabrics and effect materials from "normal" textiles?
Textiles, foils or compound materials are selected as decorative fabrics or effect materials if they can either be draped particularly well, draw structures or colours particularly well by means of lighting or, ideally, have a combination of both properties.
Tüchler always tries to select only flame-retardant materials. This is also reflected in our range. However, there are no available standard-compliant fire tests for various material structures. Therefore, please note the information on the flammability class for the respective materials. In the category of decorative fabrics and effect materials, there are some materials that are flame retardant in terms of their material, cannot be lit with a lighter, for example, and yet do not have a standard-compliant test certificate. Discuss the use of such materials with their authorities in a timely manner. Special effects can only be achieved with special materials. If there is no fire test for such special materials, another solution is usually found to ensure fire safety.
Lacquer films
All coating films are rolled "face-to-face", which means that the glossy surfaces are pressed together to protect their gloss during storage and transport.
However, this also means that two lanes of 15 each are rolled up on a 30m roll. For example, if you need 5m long lanes, then please make sure to order 10m or a multiple of them in order to actually have 5m long lanes available.
